A/N; Wow, three years. O.O I abandoned this thing for three years. But... better late than never, right? ...Right? ^^;

Okay I know, it's a long time. But here! Have your final chapter! I figured I should finish it and some people wanted to see it completed. Comments are welcome, critique if you wish but please keep in mind-- this fanfic is very old! If it wasn't for some people who wanted to see it finished, it would've probably stayed unfinished.

"Here! Stop!"

After driving for what felt like hours, the two stopped out in what appeared to be the middle of a desert. Keaton dismounted at Miko's command, and Miko did so shortly afterwards.

"This looks like where Blade and I used to hang out. Way outside the city, because nobody comes out here," Ace transformed to robot mode and stood, looking around, "So... where are these Auto... bots, exactly?"

"Right here!" Miko pointed at the side of the cliff in front of them and grinned, pulling out her phone, "Gimme a minute," and started to dial a number.

However, before she could even put the phone to her ear, the wall of the cliff shifted mechanically. Ace's ears perked and he looked up, surprised, "Wha--" Then his optics widened as it opened and revealed a long, massive, metal passageway.

"Damn," Keaton stared up, seeming less surprised than Ace.

Miko put her phone away and looked at Keaton, "you don't look impressed," Then looked at Ace and giggled, "but he is!"

Keaton looked at her with a cocked eyebrow, "I dug a motorcycle out of a junkyard, expecting to finally have a motorcycle to fix and call my own, which actually turns out to be some kind of weird alien robot with even weirder cat ears, THEN find out my uncle has a motorcycle which has a SIMILAR alien robot who is somehow related to mine, then I found out there are MORE of these alien robots, and I should be surprised that they have a big base in the middle of a desert where they wouldn't be likely to be found?"

"Fair enough," she shrugged, but then paused, "Wait, your  uncle has a--!"

"I'll explain later. C'mon, Motorcycle Boy,"  Keaton stepped in. Ace was startled back to reality after gawking, then followed.

"PFFFFT!" Miko ran to Keaton's side and grinned, "hold on! What was that you called him?!"
Keaton didn't look at her, but tightened her jaw. She knew what Miko was thinking, "it started out as a joke, but it stuck."

"For, heh, what it's worth, I call her my 'Mechanic Girl', since she's good at fixing stuff," Ace admitted shyly and rubbed the back of his neck.

"AWWW!" Miko started to become giddy and nudged Keaton's arm, "That's so cuuuuuute! So that's why you were so quiet and dazed-looking in class!"

"Shut up, Miko," Keaton growled lowly.

"Cuuuuuuute!" Miko continued to giggle and tease, "That's so cute though! Are you dating?!"

"Da--?!" Ace froze, almost stumbling in surprise, "where did that come from?!"

"I'm going to kill you Miko!" Keaton lunged to grab Miko, intending to shake her, but Miko laughed and jumped aside, then ran deeper inside the large tunnel, "get back here!"

"Can't catch me!" Miko mocked and ran.

Ace was about to chase them, but paused when he heard the hum of machinery. He looked back to see the entrance closing behind him. "Uh... girls!" He ran after them, not liking the idea of being alone, "Wait up! Can we please be focused?!"

"Miko!" Keaton managed to catch up to her, but then didn't realized that Ace was behind her and suddenly, she was snatched up off the ground before she could lay a hand on her friend, "Woah! Ace!"

"He's got you, Key!" Miko laughed.
Ace repositioned Keaton in his hand so he wasn't gently grasping her, but rather she was sitting in his hand, "Please don't run away from me like that aga--" suddenly, Ace paused and looked up, momentarily forgetting he was on his knees.

In front of them, was a massive room with huge computer monitors, and a team of five robots of varied shaped and sizes, but all appearing humanoid, like Ace. And three of them shared one thing in common.

They looked exactly like the robots he encountered earlier.

Ace gulped uneasily and his ears dropped as low as they could go.

"Woah," Keaton seemed impressed as the four robots stared down at them, silent, as these robots--except one--all towered in comparison to Ace. She assumed they transformed into bigger vehicles.

"Could've given us a little more of a warning, Miko," A bigger, green robot came over and offered his hand to Ace, who uneasily put Keaton down and took it, "but you weren't kidding about a new guy! What's your name, kid?"

"I sent Jack a text! It was something!" Miko cut in.

"A-Ace," Ace stammered a bit, "it's Ace."

"Wasn't he the guy we were chasing earlier?" From across the room, another, blue robot--who was slim and feminine, and only slightly taller than Ace--was glaring a bit at him, which made him gulp a second time. He recognized her, too--he was, indeed, the one they were trying to pursue.

"Either way, from the looks of it, he isn't hostile," the tallest of the bunch, a red and blue robot who towered above Ace approached him, Keaton, and Miko alike, "it's a pleasure to meet you, Ace. We were not aware of other.... unaligned robots here on Earth."

"N-Nice to meet you too," Ace tried to force a friendly smile, but it only looked awkward.

"So..." Keaton stepped forward, not nearly as intimidated as Ace, "Miko didn't tell us a whole lot. Who are you guys? Come from the same planet as him, right?" She pointed at Ace, "and by the way, you'll have to excuse him. He's really shy."

"I am Optimus Prime," the robot responded and nodded at her, "I am the leader of the Earth-bound Autobot team. These are my teammates," he gestured to everyone in the room,

"Bumblebee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and Arcee. I assume you know Raf and Jack, as you attend the same school."

"Raf? Don't know a Raf, but Jack?" Keaton looked around, then looked up at a high platform where a teenager and a curious younger boy stood, "Oh! Jack! Hi Jack!" And waved casually, trying not to make the situation awkward. Jack waved awkwardly back, having never met Keaton face-to-face, and the two knew little more than eachother's names.

"And!" Miko put her arm around Keaton, smiling up at Optimus, "Ace apparently has an older brother! Keaton mentioned him before!"

"Brother? As in," the pair's heads looked over as a white and red robot spoke up--the one called Ratchet, "There are more cybertronians on this planet?!"

"Uh!" Ace spoke up and put his hands up, "okay, so, for the record, I've been on earth my whole life, and so has my brother, Blade--he's not here in Nevada anymore, he and Keaton's uncle left some time ago--and... I had no idea I was an alien and this is a lot for me to take in!"

"I'm sure you've gotta be confused," Bulkhead roughly patted Ace's back, which made him stumble a bit, "but we'll tell you all about your home planet!"

"How do we know he's not a Decepticon?" Arcee was clearly skeptical.

"Uh, Arcee, Keaton said he's shy. I'm pretty sure Decepticons can't be shy," Jack reasoned.

A yellow robot, who was standing near Arcee, spoke up in a series of beeps and clicks, which confused the two newcomers.

"Uh, what he means is," Raf adjusted his glasses, "Arcee is actually really nice after a while. And welcome aboard, Ace."

"Uh, thank you," Ace wasn't sure which of the two to address, then Bulkhead nudged him to one side, "c'mon! We'll tell you everything you need to know! Ratchet?"

"Yes, come over here," Ratchet motioned with his head for them to come over.
Ace looked hesitantly at Keaton and Miko, who both motioned him to follow. "Now," Optimus looked down at Keaton, "What is your name?"

"Keaton," she replied, "Keaton Sobotka. It's, uh, nice to meet all of you," Keaton's neck was beginning to hurt from having to tilt her head so high.

"Come over here, Key. It's easier to talk to the Big Bot from up here!" Miko took Keaton's arm and lead her up some stairs to the same higher platform Raf and Jack were on, and Optimus turned accordingly as Ratchet, Ace, and Bulkhead talked.

"So," they reached the platform and Keaton leaned on the railing, as Jack and Raf came over to see her up-close, too, "what was it that you said you and--uh, Ace, are?

"We are antonymous from the planet Cybertron. A planet far from your solar system," Optimus explained, "My team has lived on Earth for the past two years, looking for energon to restore our war-torn planet."

"War-torn? As in, you and the... Decepticons, was it, were in some kind of war?" Keaton looked fascinated.

Optimus nodded, "But I can explain that  much later. How did you find Ace? How did he come to Earth?"

"He doesn't know, he's been on Earth as long as he can remember, according to him," Keaton said, "I found him--well, when he was a motorcycle--in the middle of a junkyard. You see, Optimus, I love motorcycles. I mean, I really love motorcycles. Well, actually, I love all kinds of---"

"Keaton!" Miko cut in, knowing once she started talking about her passion, she would never stop.

"Er, sorry," Keaton cleared her throat and rubbed her hands, "anyways, and I've always wanted one since I was a kid. My dad--well, when he was alive--was a really great mechanic and taught me a lot. My mom and I are too poor to buy a vehicle and my mom didn't want me to have a motorcycle of all things, but when I saw this poor thing in beat-up shape, I knew I could fix it and took it home. Got some parts, boom! Good as fixed!"

"Hmmm," Optimus put a hand on his chin in thought, "and you didn't find Ace's build to be... peculiar?"

"Well, I found his.... injuries?" she looked at Raf, then Jack, then Miko, seeing if she found the right term to use, "I mean, his tailpipes were bent completely like a piece of paper," she gestured with her hands, and saw the other robots who were listening, which was Arcee and Bumblebee, shudder a little, "like this, and uh, it was weird. I found that peculiar, but I didn't really have time to look at his internal workings before I found out he was some kind of robot!"

"And then you two became friends?" Optimus concluded.

"Uh-huh," Keaton nodded, "and, honestly..." She frowned, "I'm actually really new to Jasper. I just moved here a few weeks ago from Sedona, Arizona--if you know where that is--with my mom. I didn't have any friends and honestly I've had depression for a really long time."

"Depression?" Ratchet suddenly cut in and looked over, "A mental disorder in humans, I take it?"

"A bad one," Miko supplied.

"But!" Keaton spoke up again, "I felt like Ace got me. You know, two outcasts, lonely, and with his wheels and my street smarts, we fit in together, y'know? And we just... clicked."

"Clicked, huh?" Miko grinned and nudged Keaton, who blushed and lightly shoved her away.

"Wait,"  Ace interjected, and Optimus looked at him, "uh, Optimus Prime, my older brother--I was just telling Bulkhead and Ratchet about him--left with Keaton's uncle some time ago, as they were here for a visit. Us being here though, does that mean I have to... join you? They told me everything."

"Do you wish to?" Optimus asked him, and everybody looked over, anticipating his answer.

"N-no!" Ace said suddenly, which seemed to mildly surprise the other 'bots, then he cringed, "I mean... I'm sorry, but no. I don't like conflict, and as much as I like knowing where I'm from and others like me now, I'd... really rather just be a motorcycle in disguise. And be Keaton's friend," he gestured to Keaton, who smiled a bit, "it's like she said. We fit together. She and I are a team, and I don't really want to just abandon her."

"Well, being an Autobot doesn't mean you have to!" Raf ran closer to Ace, at the other end of the platform, "but, you guys are going to need to be protected. Once the Decepticons find out you're here..."

"Oh," Ace gulped.

"If you do not wish to join us," Optimus said, coming over and putting a hand on Ace.

"then that is your choice. However, Raf does have an excellent point, and you are welcomed at this base."

"Besides," Jack cut in, having been silent, "it's actually really cool here... even though we're actually pretty new at this ourselves."

"Oh," Keaton commented, having no idea.

"Then... I appreciate that, Optimus," Ace said, glancing at Keaton, then back at him, "thanks. Uh," he looked at Keaton again, "hey, Keaton... shouldn't we get home? Won't your mom be worried?" He folded his ears downward.

She only guessed what he meant by that body language; he was uncomfortable being surrounded by strangers, "yeah, probably," she looked at Optimus, "thanks for telling us about this stuff, Optimus. So... you said we can come back?"

"Now that we know who you are," Arcee piped up.

"Affirmative," the leader confirmed, "but only if you keep this a secret, and also... we would like to meet Ace's brother."

"Can do, as soon as my uncle next visit Jasper!" Keaton smiled and went to the stairs, sliding down the railing, "come on Ace, let's go."

"I'll open the hatch for you," Ratchet said and turned to the largest computer in the room, typing something in, and the two started to walk out the way they came.

"Wait!" Miko chased after and stopped Keaton, "You're gonna leave just like that?"

"It's a lot to take in," Keaton said, "I'll talk to you later, Miko. We really have to go before my mom flips wondering where I am.

Ace transformed to vehicle mode and revved his engine, "c'mon, Key. Let's go."

"Right," she mounted, "Nice meeting you guys. See you soon!" Then drove out.

Arcee huffed a bit, "That was rather... abrupt."

"Give her time, she'll come back," Jack shrugged.

"Yeah..." Miko pouted a bit, hoping they'd stay longer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soon enough, they arrived back at Keaton's house and the garage was already closing behind them. "So," Keaton walked over and sat on her tool table, "what do you make of that, Ace? That was... a lot of info."
"I'm relieved, to be honest," he turned to robot mode, laying on his stomach and twisting his legs over his back to conserve space, seeming to do it almost effortlessly, "but I didn't expect to hear about a war of some kind."
Keaton watched him bend his legs, "...that still freaks me out," she grinned and shook her head, "well, I would've expected to be more surprised, but I'm not, really."
"Yeah, heh," Ace started to blush a bit and fiddled with his fingers, "uh, by the way, Keaton... there's, uhm, something I need to tell you."
Keaton frowned a bit, "what is it, Ace? Is it the reason you wanted to come back so soon?"
"Yes. Well, no. Sorta," Ace rubbed the back of one ear, "Keaton... I...." he blushed and looked away, biting his lip, "I really wanted to tell you. I-I... I really like you-- As a friend, I mean! But... also... kinda... uhm..." He was starting to stammer and stumble over his words.
Keaton furrowed her brows, "Uh...?"
"...more," he managed to say, then cringed hard. His ears flattened against his head until the joints inside them started to ache, "I mean... more than as a friend."
Keaton looked surprised, not expecting that answer, and started to blush. At first, she didn't know how to respond.
He whimpered a little and turned away, tightening the cables in his legs and back, "I... I don't wanna ruin our friendship. I-I know you're a human, and I'm... well, a 'transformer' as I know now I'm called, but... I really needed to say it. I think you're... uhm... really cute.."
"Ace..." she smiled and stood up, checking her phone, then coming over and touching the side of Ace's face, which made his eyes widen and he blushed harder, "you're adorable. Really. Miko teased me all last hour because she was sure I liked you."
"...Do you?" Ace hesitated to ask.
She kissed his cheek gently, which made him freeze for a moment, then she pulled away and smirked at him, "She'd make Sherlock Holmes proud."
"Uh---!" He started to giggle nervously, "Heh, uh, Keaton, I--uh," He stopped and tried to gulp to calm himself down, then tried to speak clearly, "...does this mean you're my girlfriend? Will be, I mean?"
"Well... I'd more call you my 'bot'friend," she giggled at the pun, "but should we wait before telling anyone? I think so."
"Y-yeah, good idea..."
END
.-. DAMN my writing has come a long way! My newer stories are a lot better than this old fic.... it's slightly embarrassing xD
But hey, the fic had to be completed. I couldn't just let it sit forever, I suppose, even if TF Prime ended so long ago.
...I started this fic back when Transformers Prime first aired the first ten episodes. Wow. xD I was in 8th grade and I'm a Senior now!
Well. Nothing more to say. Enjoy. Please check out my newer stuff on my other account, :iconarchive-wavelength:. It's much better than this!
