My Words to Love

I'm so sick of avoiding you,
But at the same time,
I refuse to even look at you.
You've ruined countless lives,
I won't let you ruin mine.
Then again, you've already tried,
Congrats on killing my first semester,
This is why I hate you.
I've worked my life to get away from you,

And y'know, remember my mom?
She has cancer thanks to you.
Where was my dad during this time?
On the porch, drinking a beer.
When YOU said he should have been helping!
Helping us keep her alive!
I don't why people seek you out so actively,
Only for you to slap them in the face,
Into the arms of someone else,
Somebody who'll, what?
Betray them?
Beat them?
Abandon them?
Leave them with a child?
A child that will weight them down,
Or another  constant reminder of how their naive choices put them in bondage,
By your evil hand?

No, I've seen what you can do,
You're more destructive than the plague,
More deadly than a virus,
Uglier than any parasite,
More sickening than any poison.

You're nothing like they say you are,
You're nothing that you claim to be,
So seriously? Go die or something!
Or at least do your job right!
You've already ruined my Freshman year,
I won't let you ruin my life.
